In my mind this bear is in the Penticton/Kelowna region of B.C., where we went last fall on a wine tour. It is a gorgeous area of Canada, with beautiful beaches and vineyards covering all of the benches. This large, colourful oil painting depicts a very serious looking grizzly bear as he lumbers up the hill from the lake. It is too hot to be climbing mountains.
