Bears: Imagination and Reality

The Whyte Museum of The Canadian Rockies, in Banff, Alberta, held a show about bears in 2001. At this time bears had been my subject for over four years. This show marked a turning point, as my art received wider attention, and the bear paintings launched my signature style.

The show also signaled the beginning of a long and fabulous relationship with the museum.
