Expressing big things .
This painting is based on a small, 8×10 painting I did of an elk calling by the shore of a misty lake. I wanted to paint it bigger, more abstract and loud. After all, he is proclaiming his heart at the top of his lungs.
I seek to capture the strength, beauty and spirit of wild animals in my art. My mission is painting outstanding wildlife art with instinctive brushwork, bold colour and strong composition.
